Busuioacă de Bohotin is a grape from Eastern part of Romania- Bohotin, Iași. The grape originates from Muscat family. In other countries, it is known as Moscato Violeto -Italy, Muscat Violet Commun -France, Moscatel Gordomorado -Spain, Muskateller Violetter -Germany, and Busuioaca de Moldova-Moldova.

An elegant and well-balanced wine, obtained from grapes harvested manually.

The wine welcomes the taster with fine notes of melted rose petals, honeysuckle, peaches, and wild strawberries.

The name Bristena is an indigenous Dacian name. Bristena was a brave indigenous girl- Dacians’ daughter- who helped defend Dacia from enemies.
