From Georgia, the country that is the Birthplace of Wine, dating back 8000 years. Made from 100% Saperavi grapes, cultivated on Mukuzani vineyards on the fertile north bank of the Alazani River and not harvested until the beginning of October. This wine is aged in new French oak barrels for two years, adding a hint of spice that gives the masterpiece its depth. Mukuzani boasts a rich palette of ripe berries, black currant and plums mellowing down to a lingering wash of luscious blackberry flavors and a spicy oak that ranks this magnificent dry wine right of there with the best classic reds.
