Pronounced aromas of white peach, papaya, mango, orange and lemon zest, white flowers, a touch of honey with fresh acidity, full-bodied with a lingering finish.Viognier is not an easy grape in the vineyard, so site selection is key. Well-drained rocky soils and a large diurnal temperature swing helps retain Viognier’s acidity. Viognier is a great alternative to oak-aged Chardonnay as it has the weight and body without any oak influence.Pair with crab, shrimp, oven-roasted vegetables sprinkled with goat or feta cheese, roasted turkey, and dishes with a bit of spice. 750 mL.
